Kim makes sure our insights don’t get stuck in a report. Through newsletters, socials, campaigns and the website, she makes sure people see them, read them and remember them. Because good research deserves a good story. Alongside her work with us, Kim runs her own business, where she helps entrepreneurs show online what they have to offer.
What can we wake you up for in the middle of the night?
“Nothing, really. Anyone who wakes me up had better come with something very good. A last-minute holiday or anything with a serious adrenaline rush, and I’ll be ready in five minutes. For everything else: after my first iced latte, please.”
What’s the best feedback you’ve ever received?
“A friend once said: ‘You make everyone feel welcome right away.’ That still makes me happy. I take it with me into my work too: I want people to feel spoken to, in a conversation and in a piece of writing.”
What’s your motto in life? And how does it show in your work?
“Everything will work out, and if it doesn’t, it still will. But with my sleeves rolled up. Hard work is something I was raised with. I like to get things done and I see opportunities everywhere: for a great story, a strong campaign or a post that sticks. That’s how I approach things at Miles and in my own business: positive, driven and always sharp. And with a plan B in my pocket, even if that’s usually just an iced latte.”
