Sharon helps to always be one step ahead of customers and takes as much work off their hands as possible. But who is Sharon? To get to know her better, we asked her a few questions.
What can we wake you up for at night?
“For a plane ticket to a warm holiday destination, no matter how far the flight is. Indonesia is still high on my list to visit, but I would also really like to go back to Curaçao.”
What is the best feedback you have ever received?
“‘You’re doing well.’ Getting confirmation from others means a lot to me. I don’t need to hear it constantly, but it’s very nice when it happens spontaneously. I always act with good intentions, and if that is appreciated by someone around me and expressed, it means a lot to me..”
What is your life motto? And how does it manifest itself in your work?
“My motto has always been ‘do what you love, and love what you do.’ Very cheesy, but for me, it’s the essence of life. Therefore, do work that you enjoy and choose the people around you who make you happy.
My more recent life motto is ‘Dare to choose.’ Since this isn’t my strong suit, I try to repeat this motto often to get better at it. The fun part of making new choices is that it gives you new insights and experiences, that make life and work more enjoyable and interesting.”
