Release notes of July 13th 2021
A little better every day, that is and remains our motto. In the release notes, we tell you about new developments, functions, and fixes. Do you have any questions or do you have opportunities for improvement for us? Please let us know.
Date picker for graphs and widgets
When you create or edit a dashboard you can set periods for the charts and widgets. You decide for which period you want to view feedback. From the past month, for example, or maybe a whole year.
Previously it looked like this:
Now it looks like this:
In this release, the options for date settings have been expanded. We explain the different options and possibilities. We have divided it into 3 ways. You choose the way that suits you.
Calendar
This one is familiar. You can still choose a period yourself. Just choose the start date and end date. This period does not change over time, it’s static. You can of course adjust the period manually in the meantime.
Dynamic period
You can also choose periods that are dynamic. These periods change as time passes.
NEW! 1) Choose custom period NEW!
This is a new date filter in Focus Feedback since July 2021. The new feature makes it possible to show feedback based on past periods up until today. This function gives the possibility to do this based on days, weeks, months, quarters, and years.
2) Choose set period
Focus Feedback has always offered this option on the left side of the date picker. You can choose between:
The choice you make changes with the period. For example, if you choose the date filter ‘Yesterday’, that data will look different tomorrow than today.
BSH global survey categories
BSH has added three survey categories in a hierarchy to Focus Feedback (grandparent, parent, and child categories). For example, a Field Service survey can have the categories:
- Grandparent category = Customer Service
- Parent category = Repair
- Child category = CS_Field_Service
All new BSH global survey categories are set and maintained by the BSH IT department and will be set in the background without needing user input. The new category functionality is added to the ‘Export Module’ and the ‘Rest API’ of Focus Feedback.
In the future, the new survey categories are used for global reporting when exporting data from the Focus Feedback system. The categories allow global data analysts to filter and group Focus Feedback data easily in future global reports and dashboards. This new functionality is almost invisible for average users, except for the three new fields that are available in the local export. When selected, the three new survey categories can be exported on a local level.
Improvements
- Within the Bucket page of Focus Feedback, the user could view the customer’s responses by clicking the summary text. Because of the new ‘Card’ view, this feature has become obsolete and is removed from Focus Feedback. The entire row now opens the Closed Loop Feedback details.
- The select color of the bucket page is changed from pink to green to be in line with the colors of Focus Feedback.
- When saving the filters as View within the Bucket page of Focus Feedback saving a View without a title is not allowed anymore.
- Added a pop-up message when the status is changed in the Closed Loop Feedback details screen.
- The validity of the surveys send through SMS was one month, this is increased to three months.
- The text shown in the Story Widget functionality of Focus Feedback has been updated to better describe the functionalities on the page.
- If you are creating or editing a dashboard, you can now select a widget by double-clicking on it with your mouse.
- The classification API now accepts the value ‘Type’ as a parameter to allow BSH to sent the type of how sentiment is creating to the Focus Feedback database.
- ‘Hybris ID’ has been added as a dynamic tag to the email template page of Focus Feedback Admin so it can be used as a value within emails.
- In the feedback details within the Closed Loop Feedback page in Focus Feedback, the action bar with the buttons Decline, Assign, Close, Edit, and Status (to do, in progress, done) was visible. This is now always visible, even if you do not open the feedback details.
Fixes
- The Focus Feedback logo button on the sign-in page appeared clickable but did nothing. A link is added to the Focus Feedback website which makes the icon actionable.
- Removed or added a cursor (pointer) on many icons and images.
- We’ve added tooltips on icons and buttons.
- We’ve changed various names of buttons in the application to better represent the functionalities.
- The icons used in the Classification module are changed to be in line with the rest of the application.
- Resolved an issue where the next button in the Classification module was always active for publishable records even when the application did not have new records to load.
- Assigning multiple responses in bulk through the Bucket page of Focus Feedback resulted in major delays, now it does not anymore.
- The filter screen where the user can set the filters before making a widget has been re-written to use more modern coding and improve logic.
- When assigning feedback from the Bucket to a user the status was not updated which resulted in an empty call board. The status is now properly updated again.
- Filtering on tags within the Manage Dashboard module of Focus Feedback was restored to work properly again.
- Notes within the Closed Loop Feedback detail page are sorted by date. The sorting resulted in notes from an earlier date but the previous year was put on top. Sorting now takes the year the note is posted into consideration.
- Resolved an issue where the Sent Emails and NPS Trend charts within Focus Feedback Admin did not respond correctly to their filters.
- The format of a few buttons changed format after visiting the Responses page within Focus Feedback. Buttons now keep their initial layout.
- Choosing the Table chart modal resulted in an infinite loading screen. The table chart modal now loads correctly again.
- After navigating to the Settings page of Focus Feedback admin the application saved the wrong company id in the background. The application now keeps the correct id saved when visiting the admin settings.
- Resolved an issue where the column order changed when exporting data from Focus Feedback.
- When exporting data all sent out data (not only completed) for multiple surveys the survey column is now always filled with the corresponding data.
- Issue resolved which resulted in the classification graph of Focus Feedback showing percentages above 100% when running a classification graph for multiple surveys.
- The period filters default value was undefined when opening the dashboards NPS Performance Overview, NPS Verbatim Analysis and NPS callback selector within Focus Feedback Admin. When not changed, this resulted in infinite loading screens. We’ve added a default value to the period filter to resolve this issue.
- Filters within Focus Feedback were cleared after changing the date filter. Now it remembers the filters when the data ranges are changed.
- The buttons to sort data within the Classification chart of Focus Feedback did not function, the issue is resolved, and clicking the buttons return the data sorted.
- Within the Tables module of Focus Feedback Admin, the delete button is now visible again.
- Resolved an issue where user setting data (date of birth, work anniversary, name, etc.) were lost when the profile picture was changed before saving. Resolved by not clearing the user data when a user changes their profile picture.
- Drag & Drop functionality when viewing or editing a dashboard within Focus Feedback is not visible anymore when no charts are within the dashboard due to having no function at that moment.
- Opening the notification settings straight from the link within the email now redirects the user straight to the correct page within Focus Feedback.
- Loading in the notification settings when coming through the direct link from the email now loads the settings and filters correctly.
