Release notes of November 16th, 2020

It is time again to show what we have been working so hard on recently. The biggest visible change: a new home screen for Focus Feedback! We hope this change excites you as much as us. We are fully testing, implementing and optimizing the story widget that we mentioned earlier. We will keep you up to date with more details about this new feature soon.

In these release notes, you can read about the following new features:

  • New home screen of Focus Feedback
  • You can now cluster surveys on multiple and global categories
  • Authorization Focus Feedback added
  • NPS Verbatim Analysis Treemap colors changed

New home screen of Focus Feedback

No Focus Feedback user can ignore this change. The home screen of Focus Feedback has changed. The standard graphs have been replaced by the blocks that give you an overview of all parts of Focus Feedback. These enable you to navigate to the desired part of the application as quickly as possible. In the following video we’ll take you through all the new functionalities of the home screen:

We’ve already sent all Focus Feedback users an email to inform them about this change. You can recreate the graphs that were previously on the homepage via ‘create dashboards’. Would you like a reminder about how to make a dashboard? Then watch the tutorial video: ‘Create and set up a dashboard’.

Multiple and global survey categories

Surveys can be clustered based on category. Until now it was only possible to connect one category to a survey. Two changes have been made to this functionality.
1. It is now possible to connect multiple categories to a survey. You can manage and create Survey Categories in Focus Feedback Admin under Management > Tables > Survey Categories.
2. Admin users that have access to the Global Environment of Focus Feedback can now create global categories. When you create a global category, it is instantly visible as an option for all other countries. Users can’t change or delete global categories, but are able to include a local translation within Management > Tables > Survey Categories.

Authorization Focus Feedback added

Authorization allows key users to enable parts of Focus Feedback for the other users. This was already available in Focus Feedback Admin but not yet in Focus Feedback.

Key users are able to activate or de-activate different modules for other users. The authorizations are set within Focus Feedback Admin under Management > Groups. The authorizations which are always enabled are Manage Dashboards and Inspiration Center. The different modules that can be activated are:
• Create Dashboard: Allows users to create their own dashboards and charts.
• Classification: Allows users to classify data and access the classification module.
• CLF Callboard: Allows users to access Closed Loop Feedback tickets that are assigned to their name.
• CLF Bucket: Allows users to access all Closed Loop Feedback tickets and the CLF Bucket page.
• Focus Feedback Admin: Allows users to navigate between Focus Feedback and the Focus Feedback Admin page.

NPS Verbatim Analysis Treemap colors changed

In the NPS Verbatim Analysis dashboard, the colors showcased in the Treemap have changed to a new color scheme. The values are still the same but the color scheme is significantly different. The colors are based on their corresponding NPS and are set as showcased below:

Added Classification and CLF quick buttons

In the previous release notes (from October 12th) you could already read about 2 handy shortcuts that were added in the call to action buttons right above Focus Feedback.
Now those shortcuts can be found in several places in Focus Feedback, namely in the following widgets:

  • Feedback widget.
  • Classification widget.
  • Potential / Like widget.

The shortcuts navigate directly to the Closed Loop Feedback (left icon) and Rating (right icon) of that particular feedback that has come in.

Two new Product Journey URL’s available (requested by BSH)

The product journey surveys send a link to the consumer that has some metadata included. The already existing product journey URL’s were:
• http://examplewebsite.nl/#/journey/<campaign_id>/<bupa_id>/<E-number>/<Product_Division>
• http://examplewebsite.nl/#/journey/<campaign_id>/<bupa_id>/<E-number>/<Product_Area>

Now two new Product Journey URL’s are available. They include the option to add the RetailerID as metadata in Focus Feedback.
• http://examplewebsite.nl/#/journey/<campaign_id>/<bupa_id>/<E-number>/<Product_Area>/<RetailerID>

Improvements

• When creating a new dashboard in Focus Feedback, you must first create a name for the dashboard, then you can start adding charts. It used to be that you first add new graphs and then save them under a name. We have adjusted this order in this release.
• Focus Feedback app now knows when the user’s password is expired. When this happens an update screen is shown asking the user to update their password.
• Multi-select filters have been added to the Insights module in Focus Feedback Admin.
• Increased the limit of surveys that are allowed to multi-select as a filter for the Focus Feedback Admin export function. Users can now export data of up to 14 surveys combined.
• The icon of our Inspiration Center changed. It is now showcased by a lightbulb icon.
• After customer feedback that the classification text within Focus Feedback was difficult to read for a long time, a fix has been made that enlarges the text within the module.
• Added a status update message when Feedback is assigned or a follow-up email is sent from the classification module.
• When users clicked the ‘Forgot Password’ button on the login page or navigated to Focus Feedback through an activation email, they need to create a new password. This password has certain rules (capital letter, number, at least 8 characters, etc). These rules can be set in Focus Feedback Admin but previously were not visible for the user. Now when creating a new password the rules are shown on screen.
• Added a button “CLF” within the classification module which allows users to navigate instantly to the Closed Loop Feedback details.

Fixes

• The ‘NPS performance overview’ when loaded in with a period filter ‘week’ and the checkbox ‘show NPS last year’ selected in the first chart had an error where the first time period showed an NPS of 0. This issue has been fixed.
• Resolved an issue where tags that had identical names in different countries created an internal problem.
• Fixed an issue where tags that started with a # could not be added.
• Resolved a bug where the Next button within the classification module was disabled after reaching precisely half of the verbatim that could be classified in that session.
• When creating a multi-choice graph in Focus Feedback users could still select additional questions for surveys where they did not have the correct authorization. These charts were then returned empty. To increase user experience the option to select these chart types has been removed.
• An issue occurred when a user opened the survey details in Focus Feedback Admin on a computer with a small screen. The “Save” button was not visible because the pop-up was bigger than the user’s screen. Additional vertical scaling has been added to resolve this issue.
